God does not make mistakes. He made each and every one of us exactly how he wanted us. He gave some of blonde hair some brunette, put our eyes a certain length away from our nose, gave some of us biggo clown feet and some of us little baby feet. Hmmmm what I’m trying to say is God knew exactly what he was doing when he created you. Some people say special needs children are from something the mother did during her pregnancy but honestly I believe that God did it on purpose not to hurt the child but because he knew they could handle it. God would never confront you with something you could not handle. Special needs children are probably some of the strongest people in the world. Think about it, things you do every morning are ten times harder for them. For my uncle Scotty to talk it takes everything he has, he if like 50 so imagine how strong he was to have fought this disability for 50 years. That takes a hell of a person. He is also one of the most confident people I know. So why are there so many “normal” people feeling so unconfident? If God doesn’t make mistakes you should have any reason to feel self-confident, he made you beautiful he made you strong so never forget that. So I encourage all my follower to walk with your head held INCREDIBLY high cause YOU are a creation of God and remember he makes NO mistakes J Have a blessed week.

  1. Hope, I agree with you that God made us in his own image, that we were built in his way to effect others in our lives. God had to make the special needs kids one of the strongest because they are the people that have the heart to fight whatever they got plus there the people that got the skills to change anybody. As a person that is quiet, I do need to have more of a postive confidence for myself. I felt more encouraged as i read this thx.

  2. Hope, Just like the blessings that you speak of, your writings are a gift. They are reminders that we have been given something incredible by a power that we cannot understand. Not everyone has to agree on what to call that power, but I think it's silly for anyone to disagree on the point that we are all blessed. I especially like this post because it discusses something that I have struggled with for a very long time. Especially where girls are concerned, I have found that there is great doubt of beauty. This post is a great reminder that everyone is beautiful, because they are exactly the way they were meant to be.
